The Cowsills, a rocking family combo on a sharp upward climb, headline a star-studded show in the Music Hall of the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, July 28 through Aug. 2. Appearing in the pier's famous Marine Ballroom at the same time and remaining through Saturday, Aug 3, will be Lee Castle and the fabulous Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra. The popular Pal and the Prophets also will appear in the Marine Ballroom, locatd on the pier a half-mile out over the Atlantic.
Leapfrogging along the hot 100 on the charts, the Cowsills' recording of "Indian Lake" has landed in the top 10 in the country and is expected to be number one by the time they arrive at the pier. Slated for a television network special, the Cowsills are one of the fatest rising vocal-instrumental combos in the country.
