BOB COWSILL
My first romance - it wasn't really a summer romance - was in the sixth grade. I remember her well. Her name was Debbie and I had such a crush on her. She used to sit in the fifth row and I'd sit there looking at her and she had this blonde hair that just wouldn't quit - I just couldn't believe her. I never took her out, but what can you do in the sixth grade? I hung around with her on the play ground until I started getting kidded and teased by the other guys. It was really kid stuff but that was the first girl I ever really loooked at. Then she moved and it was kind of sad.
