Barry Cowsill was a member of the popular 1960s singing family The Cowsills, which recorded a series of top hits and was the inspiration for the TV series The Partridge Family. Cowsill had been missing since Hurricane Katrina flooded his home. He was found dead on the Chartres Street Wharf in New Orleans, nearly four months after he disappeared, on Dec. 28, 2005. He was 51.
