Your fab American group THE COWSILLS were a tremendous success in Britian - even though they nearly ate us out of fish and chips! One noteworthy incident occured when six of the nine C's were "ejected" from the restaurant of their London hotel - for singing at the breakfast table - no less! "A waiter came up to us and said the manager had asked if we could stop making noise," The C's Mini-Mama explained. "I said: 'It isn't noise. It's music!' And he said he didn't care what it was - either we stopped, or he'd have to ask us to leave. So, we left and had breakfast in our room," she concluded. The incident was forgotten - with no hard feelings. I imagine The C's figured their British cousins were entitled to eat their breakfast eggs without musical accompaniment!
