Barry is the strong, silent Cowsill. So the chances of meeting him in the middle of a crazy-loud nightclub are almost impossible. That's because Barry avoids them like the plague! Instead, look for Barry in some unexpected places.

As you know, the Cowsills are transplants from their native Newport, R.I., to California. Barry, like the rest of the family, misses some of the groovy things they enjoyed back East. One of these is lake-swimming. So, if you catch youself near or around the mountain lake areas outside of Los Angeles, take a peek at who's swimming around. One of those guys might be Barry!

All The Cowsills miss the seafood and lobster they were used to eating practically every day back in R.I. So they all visit the two or three good seafood restaurants in Los Angeles fairly often. If you happen to be there when they are, say hi (quietly and politely, of course), and the chances are excellent that this extra-friendly family will ask you to sit with them.

Barry lives in Santa Monica (the house should be easy to find - it looks like the one from the old TV show, "The Munsters"), records in Beverly Hills and goes to school in Hollywood. (That ought to keep you hopping around!). Barry likes girls who are quiet, but not so quiet that he has to do all the talking. So if you do run into him, have something ready to say.
