Breaking up is easy to do but revivals are rare, as witness such tries by the Turtles, Rascals, Monkees, Yardbirds, Dave Clark Five, Lovin' Spoonful, Buffalo Springfield, Cowsills, Mamas and Papas, McCoys, Archies, Strawberry Alarm Clock and other gold-winning hit-riders of the swinging 60's.

People ask whatever happened to the Cowsills, the singing family who broke the ice for the Jackson 5, Osmond Bros., Heywoods and other family entertainers. Here's what:
Barry Cowsill is tending a store in the Montana Rockies. Paul has a job in Nebraska, the Cornhusker State. John lives in Rhode Isle. Bob is pre-med student at Glendale College, Ca. 91201. Shapely Susan, now pushing 15, was ramming psych I, math and lit. into her brainbox at Hollywood Professional Hi until June. Dad Cowsill is mentor of a songgroup in New York and Mom Barbara is keeping house for him, often humming the old hit tunes as she cooks, washes dishes, cleans the stove, does the laundry, gets her husband's slippers and lights his cigarettes.
