The Cowsills
Disappeared in 1970 and the inspiration for The Partridge Family, the Cowsills' numerous progeny, five boys and two girls, became known on the New York club circuit in the mid-1960s.
Signed to MGM in 1967, they had their first hit with "The Rain, The Park and Other Things". Television and concerts occupied the rest of his short, slimy career, one of whose highlights was his version of "Hair". Little Sue has a cameo in Third Eye.
