Holiday Visitors At MGM
NEW YORK - On Friday,
Dec. 15, MGM Records' usual
hectic routine was interrupted
by the visit of the famed MGM
lion, Santa Claus and an elf.
The visitors brought gifts to
key MGM executives including
Mort Nasatir, President, Frank
Mancini, Lenny Scheer, Harold
Berkman and others. When the
gifts were distributed to all
secretaries, office workers, mail
boys, etc., the lion was found
to be Myrna Stogel, wife and
associate of Lenny Stogel, Cowsills personal manager.
Santa Claus was Zachary
Glickman, Vice President of
Leonard Stogel and Associates,
Ltd., and the elf was Dick Cowsill, member of the Cowsill
family. The other Cowsills
(singing members) did their
part by coming up and singing
a medley of Christmas carols
for the entire staff at MGM.
Stogel said: "MGM, Mr. Nasatir
and all concerned have
done such a wonderful job for
us, shown so much faith and
devoted so much time and attention
to making the Cowsills
one of the hottest acts in the
country that we felt we would
like to do something a little
special for them. This was
the perfect opportunity."
