LOS ANGELES - It was announced by David Ray, General
Manager of the Cowsill Production
complex, that the company
is planning a further expansion
into the field of recording and
sound.
The firm, which has headquartered
at 9255 Sunset since
its introduction to the Coast in
September, is moving to larger
quarters which will not only
house its executive personnel,
but its own recording studios
and rehearsal rooms.
"We have been moving towards
this area since our inception,
and the only way for
us to properly function is to incorporate
our entire procedure
under one roof," stated Bud
Cowsill.
The building, a three-story
on Wilshire, will house the publicity
department of the firm,
the publishing department-
Cowsill Publishing, Inc. and
the TV production end of Cowsill Productions. The second
story will consist of recording
studios and the third floor will
be mainly rehearsal rooms.
The expansion will not only
serve Cowsill Productions, for
Bud Cowsill is planning on re
cording other groups there, and
providing rehearsal space for
any group requiring it. "I see
as one of the main problems on
the Coast a lack of rehearsal
room. I hope to provide it,"
said Bud.
The move will become effective
in February.
