Producer Herb Bernstein Excited
About 13 -Year -Old Protégée
. . .
The modest self-confidence of
Bernstein's is immediately impressive;
and so is his credit
sheet especially for a scant two
productive years ("I tried to
get into the business a few
times before, but I wasn't
ready, I guess"). Right now,
the Happenings' "Music Music
Music" is a Bernstein arrangement.
And "I Need a Friend,"
which is shaping up as the
next Cowsills single, is one of
the many arrangements Bernstein
did for the new Cowsills
album.
