There have been quite a few surprises in the Cowsill family of late.
First, Dick (Bob's 18-year-old twin brother) announced he was going to join the Marines, and by now he'll probably be in Viet Nam.
Then Paul — who has hitherto been in the background taking care of the group's equipment — made his debut on stage! "I never wanted to join the group at all," Paul told us. "I was quite happy to watch the others perform, but Dad kept on at me till I finally agreed to give it a try."
But biggest surprise of all was when Bill, the eldest Cowsill, suddenly announced that he was getting married! Lucky girl is 19-year-old Karen Locke from Allentown, Pa. Bill met her three years ago and they've been dating on and off ever since.
The couple plan to marry in June, so they'll be hitched by the time you read this.
As you can see, anything can happen with the Cowsills! Now we're just waiting for their Dad to join the group!
