Dear FLIP,
In your March edition, on page 23, you printed a picture of The Cowsills. That picture was taken at The New York State Fair. I know, because I was there! You see, that pictures was taken on August 27th, and Bob's 19th birthday was the 26th, so my sister, two friends and I baked a cake for him and Dick (even though Dick was in the Army). When The Cowsills arrived, we asked Mr. Cowsill if we could give the cake to Bob personally, and he said yes. So the five of us (plus my mom) were escorted personally into their dressing room. And we got to talk to all of them. And when I gave the cake to Bob I got a kiss! It was the greatest day if all of our lives!
