THE COWSILLS are very happy - and they have good reason to be! The family recently moved to California and now they are finally settled in their beautiful Santa Monica home. They want you to be their very first guest - and they all have gathered around the piano to sing a special "welcome". So, come along for an entertaining trip through the private world of the Cowsills!

This is what their new home looks like from the outside. It's a 20-room Mediterranean-style mini-mansion, stone-colored with orange slate roofing. It offers a breathtaking view of the mountains and is surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens.

Once inside the house, you step into a huge living room and find the entire family waiting to greet you. They can't decide what to show you first, cos each and every Cowsill has his own particular favorite spot!
| |
The only Cowsill missing is Dick (Bob's twin), who is in Viet Nam. The family writes to Dick every day, and you can bet they've told him all about their new home. Sitting at the dining room table, Mini-Mom reads Dick's most recent letter to John and Paul.

How'd you like to see the upstairs? Paul's room is first on the list. It's typically boyish, with footballs, basketballs and tennis rackets all around.
Paul sits at his desk and demonstrates how he spends most of his time - doing homework!

A trip through the connecting bathroom and you're in Susie's room. Its decorated in pink - and Susie finally has the canopy bed she's always wanted!

|
Bob's room is next. He has a small patio outside his window, overlooking the swimming pool, and a desk for his homework - but this is his fav corner and the spot where he does most of his reading!
Last but not least, we come to the biggest bedroom in they house. It belongs to John and Barry! They spend quite a bit of time here - particularly watching TV! All the rooms have color TV sets.
There's still much more to see! Barry, John, Paul, Bob and Susie have some surpises for you in their backyard - and Bill and Karen want to show you where they live! So be sure to pick up a copy of they March issue of 16 - which goes on sale January 23!
