Barry Cowsill. How would he rate as your desert island companion? Barry says he doesn't like beautiful but boring girls, or girls who wear gobs of makeup, or girls who can't carry on a conversation, or girls who pretend — for instance, pretend they're not hungry when actually they're starving, or pretend they don't have to be home at a certain time. And he can't stand girls who whisper to other girls as if they've got a secret they don't want him to hear. But Barry likes neat attractive girls with a pleasing personality, who are up on current events, and who love TV, and horror movies, and John Wayne flicks, and musicals. Above all he likes the sentimental, romantic type, because that's the way he is.
So how about Barry? The fact that he doesn't like gobs of make-up is a fine feature for a desert island companion, also that he likes truthfulness, because a desert island is no place for pretending you're not hungry! On the other hand, there's no TV on a desert island! How could you rate Barry — A, B, C, or D?
