Capitol's publishing closed a successful year of expanded scope in June, 1970, having charted "Try a Little Kindness" by G:en Campbell, "Silver Threads & Golden Needles" by the Cowsills, "Drummer Man" by Nancy Sinatra, "Dubuque Blues" by the Association, and "Some Beautiful" by Jack Wild in the pop area. In the country field, Central catalog songs that reached chart activity were "World -Wide Travelling Man" by Wynn Stewart, "Lover's Song" by Ned Miller, "You Gotta Have a License" by Porter Wagoner, "Yours Forever" by Wynn Stewart and the current Roy Clark single, "I Never Picked Cotton."
