Producer's Profile - Wes Farrell
. . .
Wes Farrell and the Wes Farrell organization, which includes Coral Rock
Productions, Pocket Full Of Tunes Music and Senate Records, had a banner
year in 1968 and have been continued the pace into 1969, and if that makes you think that Wes' firm will be the ne
new conglomerate purchase, don't count on
it. Wes seems fairly certain to maintain
his independent status for a long time
to come. "I think there's a monster
future in staying independent and in the
concentration of creative energies," said
Farrell. His creative energies have been
responsible for the Cowsills' "Indian
Lake" and "Poor Baby" smashes, the
recent Brooklyn Bridge success, "The
Worst That Could Happen," plus
hefty-selling first album from the Beach
St. Union, so there seems to be a great
deal of truth to what he says.
