NEW YORK - Buddah earned five gold records for singles, while MGM gained nine for albums leading in these categories during the first six months of 1969. MGM, with an RIAA award for a Cowsills single, tied Capitol in overall awards, followed by Columbia with nine, RCA with seven, and ABC with six.
