Blue Northern is a band from Vancouver, who are doing quite well out there, thank you. They are produced by Bill Cowsill (remember The Cowsills? "Hair", "Indian Lake", and "The Rain, The Park, And Other Things" were big teeny hits for them), who is also a member of the group. The music given is a weak showing of either country or bluegrass. I'm not sure which it could fall under. To top it off, it's badly produced, with only four songs, which, folky they shouldn't borther to ____ on 12 in records these days. One decent record, "Can't Make No Sense," barely reaches a palatable point, but has enough hooks to make it acceptable.
