Ugly Bob's on the inside wasn't as much ugly as bizarre, a cross between a drinking establishment and a supermarket for discontinued television gimmicks, most from the seventies: VegoMatics, Ginzu knives. Kitchen Magicians - all collecting dust on shelves over the bar. Ugly Bob also sold black velvet paintings, Elvis license plate frames, car fresheners, plastic barf, eight-track tapes - everything from the Cowsills to Count Basie - and a vast array of key chains, pocket knives, and nail clippers.
