Cowsills, The
The Cowsills are an American singing group from Rhode Island. The band was formed in 1965 by Bill, Bob, and Barry Cowsill. Other siblings, Susan, Paul, John, Richard and their mother, Barbara later joined the band. From 1968 to 1972, the band played an average of 200 performance dates per year, and was among the most popular acts on the American concert circuit. In 1968, they had their own comic book, published by Harvey Comics. The group inspired the 1970s TV show The Partridge Family.
