Yet the young Fox's earliest performing aspirations were musical, as opposed to theatrical.
"My sister was playing records of the Cowsills and the Partridge Family and I liked them," he would explain many years later. "Then my older brother Steve took me into his room and put on Hendrix and Clapton and Jimmy Page. That was it. I was hooked. When I graduated from elementary school everyone had to bring a record. I took Shaved Fish, the Lennon album. To this day, it's a close call between acting and music."
