To round out her YOU'RE LOOKIN' AT COUNTRY album Loretta recorded INDIAN LAKE which had been a pop hit for the Cowsills in 1968 before being revived in the country field by Freddy Weller three years later. Kristofferson's song I'D RATHER BE SORRY was Ray Price's followup to FOR THE GOOD TIMES and John Denver's TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS was one of the year's most widely performed songs.
