Major hits came from Three Dog Night's rendition of "Easy to Be Hard" (peaking at No. 5); Oliver's "Good Morning Starshine" (peaking at No. 3); and "Hair," covered by the bubble-gum group the Cowsills (peaking at No. 2). The week the Cowsills reached second place, the No. 1 song on the Hit 100 was the Fifth Dimension's tight-harmony medley of "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In . . . "
