Vietnam was hardly a joking matter, but Goodman's parody "On Campus" was still engaging and funny. The spectacle of Mayor Richard Daley of Chicago, who is referred to as "Mr. Happiness," extolling the virtues of longhaired students' "long beautiful hair" (as sung by the Cowsills in "Hair") is delightfully absurb. . . .
