On the entertainment scene, the resort was not without its major attractions to lure visitors for a day, a weekend or a long vacation! The Steel Pier again featured a lineup filled with top names including the Cowsills, Pal and The Prophets, The Fifth Dimension, The Beach Boys, The Box Tops, and The New Christy Minstrels. Art Mooney and His Orchestra and The Jimmy Dorsey Band, directed by Lee Castle, also played the pier that summer. Theodore Bikel appeared, in person, in the Pennsylvania Room of Haddon Hall, presented by the Community Synagogue.
