Thanks to Ginny for sharing this show with us !!
Ginny tells of the night: "We flew into Stuart, Florida on Friday. When we got to the hotel we were surprised to find Bob, Susan, Paul, Robby, Timmy and entourage waiting on us. It was something to walk into the pub and see them all there. Bob was smiling like I never saw him smile and everyone was just so happy and excited. It was fun to see the looks on the faces of those of us who had never met all of them. Bob was in high spirits coming over to greet us with quick hugs and handshakes. Paul was so hyper I thought he might fly away, and Susan and Russ were just adorable.
Bob surprised us by arranging for a 30 minute meet and greet before the show just for the 9 of us. We were offered refreshments, one on one conversations and they were so generous with pictures.
The show didn't disappoint! It was wonderful. I admit I wondered how they were going to get all the harmonies down like they did during their heyday but they did. 'Hair' amazed me because of all the voices and harmonizing back in the 60's. One of the highlights of the show was when they sang 'I Think I Love You' one of the Partridge family's hits!! We all got a kick out of that. Throughout the entire show, Bob was giving us a Cowsill history lesson. They tributed Bill and Barry, singing some of their songs and told the audience about the last 2 years and losing them. Barry's 'River of Love' and one of Bills were sung but I cannot for the life of me remember which Bill song it was. I'm amazed by that little tidbit!! LOL!
After the show, the rest of the audience were able to get autographs, and purchase Global and Susan's CD's. At one point everyone broke into song and sang "What is Happy" taking the C's completely off guard!
The whole concert was a lot of fun and I'm hoping for more in the future. We'll just have to see."
