Tim is close to our hearts because of our love for his beautiful wife, Ann Marie. Ann Marie is a long, LONG time fan of The Cowsills and was very instrumental in the organization of the drive to find Barry post-Katrina.

Timothy R. Richard, 49, of Monson formerly of Hampden, passed away on Wednesday, (November 10, 2010) at his home surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born in Pawtucket, RI on July 12, 1961 a son of Bernard J. and Jean (Weldon) Richard.
He attended Cathedral High School and Vermont Academy, Holyoke Community College and Westfield State College. Tim was employed by the State of Connecticut for 23 years, as a disciplinary investigator. He was an avid hiker and loved the outdoors, Boston Red Sox, and New England Patriots. He proudly served our country in the United State's Air Force. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years of marriage Ann Marie (DeCasse) Richard of Monson, three devoted daughters Sarah A. Richard, Christina V. Richard and Mary-Katherine Y. Richard all of Monson, his loving parents Bernard J. and Jean M. (Weldon) Richard of Hampden, two brothers John B. Richard and his wife Betty of Stafford Springs, CT, Glenn R. Richard and his wife Betsy of Phoenix, MD, two sisters Diane M. Henshaw and her husband John of Eden Praire, MN, and Lisa K. Richard and her good friend Traci Edinger of Lewes, DE. Tim also leaves his mother-in-law Antoinette (Scibelli) DeCasse of East Longmeadow, his brother-in-law Anthony DeCasse and his wife Linda of Chicopee, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and dear friends. Tim's funeral will be held on Monday, (November 15, 2010) at 9:30 a.m. at the Forastiere Smith Funeral Home 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA 01028, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church 64 Main Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, 1601 State Street in Springfield. Family and friends are invited to the calling hours on Sunday, (November 14, 2010) from 2 - 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Brain Tumor Research c/o Dr. Patrick Wen at Dana Farber Cancer Institute 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
