Sandy was one of the first Cowsill buddies I hooked up with in the mid-1990's as the internet gave us an avenue to meet fellow Cowsill fans. I first physically (we had chatted on the phone and computer) met Sandy on December 5, 1997 at what we deemed Cowsill Marathon I.
Sandy (and part of me - we short folks got up front hee hee) at CM I |
Sandy and I remained friends over the years as our lives paralleled each others' in many ways. Her nieces and nephews meant the world to her. She also taught Sunday school and loved to go to plays. She was a big I Love Lucy fan.
Sandy was the birthday/anniversary girl of cowsill.com and ALWAYS made sure (even when her computer wasn't working) that people were remembered on those special days. She'd find a way to make us all feel special. Sandy was also my personal website speller and grammar person. I'm horrible at English and she bailed me out a zillion times. (I should - on purpose - misspell words and mess up sentences for her here. I can hear her laughing about that. She'd probably find a way to correct them from heaven!)

Lynn M. and myself met Sandy for lunch while in Boston right before Cowsill Marathon V. This is Lynn and Sandy outside what was then Zanzibar (where the C's launched their 1990's reunion tour) on September 23, 2003. During this trip would be the last time I saw Sandy.
