Amy Lynde

Amy

Amy was part of Cowsill Nation through her baby sister, Michelle. I met Michelle online when she was 14 when we found she had fallen in love with Barry Cowsill. Having seen Michelle go through many life steps, she would talk of Amy.

Amy's obituary reads:

Amy Lynde passed away at home, peacefully in her sleep, after a long illness. She was born in San Antonio, but lived most of her life in Euless, TX. She graduated from Trinity High School in 1996 and began working full-time jobs in customer service.

Amy loved dogs, especially her scruffy "poo-huahua" Buddy, who was her right-hand man for the last fourteen years of her life. She also loved music, especially bands like Depeche Mode and the Cure, and liked to watch movies and television shows. Her humor was contagious and her creativity and curiosity unparalleled.

Amy was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Royce and Neta Makin, paternal grandparents Stan Lynde and Cindy Bailey, aunt Lisa Makin, and uncle Bernie Bernhardt. She is survived by her parents, Casey and Sheri Lynde, sisters Michelle Chesnut and Kelsey Lynde, brother-in-law Matthew Chesnut and nephew Benjamin Casey Chesnut, aunts Valarie Bernhardt and Shannon Lynde, great aunts Irene Edgar and Kyra Voss, step-grandmother Lynda Lynde, and numerous other extended family members and friends.

Despite her many health concerns, Amy was a good friend to many and will be missed by those who truly knew her
