The Beach Boys played an hour show on Fox and Friends on Fox News Channel. The internet streamed live which was much more fun to watch. John sang no leads, but you got to hear the banter in between songs. I didn't start writing things down till the end of the show, but there were many fun moments.
Towards the first John gave a wave to his sweet Vicki I'm sure :) He also did the drum stick antenna. At one one point Mike said, "We're looking for a good home for a used drummer." Another time a crew member came out and was at the Tim's keyboard and John said, "There's nothing wrong with the keyboards. It's just cool to work on them. Do you want me to come and kiss them?" At the end the TV hosts came out and were doing selfies with Mike and Bruce. John slid over to photo bomb the shot. Once during a break John said, "I have about 10 minutes of stuff to tell you people right now." Then another time he appears to be pointing to someone - maybe telling them to move - and says "That's my daughter right behind you," and then "she thinks I'm kidding." (Tenaya was in front on the left as you were facing the stage) At the end of Surfer Sufari he's doing some sign language. Guess it might be directed at Tanaya.
Bruce ask, "Anyone want a free microphone?" as he pretended to toss it into the crowd. Bruce also said, "I sing the high parts just in case the draft comes back."
When they ask Mike if there was any song left that they could do (meaning another song for the show), Mike said, "Let's see. We only recorded about 300-400 of them." Mike was talking about doing a show in Arcadia Wisconsin and added "Home of Ashley Furniture" to which Bruce added "They gave us recliners." (Wonder if John gets one too????)
Here are some screen captures from the show.
