the Catholic religion. Is this wrong? Is it wrong to joke about the Lord? I don't thing so. Jokes and humor can bring you even closer to God. God can laugh too! In fact, the jokes we tell were even written especially for us by a good friend who is also a Catholic Father!

My family feels that they have a very close relationship with God. God is love and everything that is beautiful, so how could he ever be cross or hateful? I think that every expression of love is an affirmation of ones be-of love is an affirmation of one's belief in God!

MANY WAYS

I know Susan says her prayers at night just the way I do, but the boys have found prayer through other means. There are many ways to pray and some of us like to kneel and speak aloud and others use silent prayer. Appreciating the stars in the heavens or a beautiful flower opening in the morning sunshine, this is a form of prayer too!

Bob likes to go to Church whenever he gets the chance and though a Catholic, he likes to attend churches of other denominations. He's even going to be married in a Presbyterian church because he knows that God lives in every church.

In Rhode Island, they've got lots of folk masses and on Sunday you can hear all the singing and music coming from the church doors. Someone said once that only organ music should be played because that's the way church music should sound.

I don't agree. I think God enjoys all kinds of music. He doesn't put any restrictions on what kind of music a

church must play. I think he digs guitars, too!

God gave my family a great gift— that of song and the chance to make people happy through our music. To stop performing and singing in order

to attend church services would be denying God Himself the gift He gave us.

When the Cowsills lift their voices in song, they are thanking God for the good things he has given them and just like Barry said, our music is our prayer and our thanks to Him.
