In addition to the numerous shows here in the desert, there have been a few festival type presentations. On March 27th there was a concert promoted as "Fun In The Sun." This was held in the Palm Springs Angel Stadium and they expected mass people to show up, not. "Fun In The Sun" was promoted on KNAC and flyers were seen as far down as San Diego State. Well, it bombed from what I heard, not nearly as many pe9ple came as what I expected. Bands that played were TESTAMENT, MARY'S DANISH, HEAVY BONES, UNTOUCHABLES, COWSILLS, GRAND LEE BUFFALO, BUNGEE CORD, LIMECREEDO and APRIL'S MOTEL ROOM. Maybe if they would have booked a few local bands they would have done better.
