Presley – Means Wedding Sunday
Springdale, Dec. 28 – Milliard Means, son of Mrs. Blanche Means, and Miss Naomi Presley, daughter of Mrs. Ruby Presley, were married at the home of the latter, Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.

Mr. Means is teaching music in the Chelsea high school. Miss Presley has been employed as secretary in the Arkansas Western Gas office here. After a briefs tay here during Mr. Mean’s vacation, the couple will make their home at Chelsea, Okla.

Those attending the nuptials were Mr. and Mrs. Shaw and Miss Mary Jan Angus of Fayetteville, the last named furnished the music. Rev. H. O Bolin, who officiated; Mrs. Nelson and daughter of Chelsea; Mrs. Sturdivant and daughter, Mrs. Means; Mrs. Presley; Mr. and Mrs. Eual Fitzgerald; Miss Helen Jones and Austin Cravens.

Mrs. Ruby Presley accompanied her nieces, Misses Lula and Alta Jeane Presley, of Wichita, Kas., who have been visiting her for the past week and her mother –in-law, Mrs. Mattie Presley, who resides with her, to Huntsville, Sunday where they will visit relatives several days. Mrs. Ruby Presley returned home Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Thomason gave a big dinner Sunday, complimentary to their son, Sidney who left for Idaho Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Presley of Washington, Mo., announce the birth of a daughter, Judith Ann, Dec. 6. Mrs. Presley is the former Miss Thelma Garrison of Fayetteville. She graduated from Fayetteville high school and Fayetteville Business college and is a former stenographer and librarian at the University College of Engineering. Mrs. Presley graduated from the College of Engineering in 1931.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Presley and family who have been residents of Rogers for the past few years have moved to Clifty where Mr. Presley, will operate a milk route from there to Rogers.

Mrs. J. L. Auslam entertained with a birthday dinner Sunday in honor of Mr. Auslam, her son, and her grandson, James Lee, whose birthdays all occur in this month. Among guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Auslam and children; Mr. and Mrs. George Miller; Mrs. Duke Auslam and children; Mrs. James Lee Auslam and little sons, James Presley and Jerry Lynn Richardson; Rev. J. B. Presley, and Mr. and Mrs. Charley Cox.

Announcements have been received of the marriage of Miss Mary Elizabeth Presley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Presley of Savannah, Mo., to James William Youngblood of Kansas City. Mrs. Youngblood, who is a niece of William L. Bunch and Carl Bunch of Fayetteville, and Mrs. Harry Fields of Springdale, is a granddaughter of the late J. N. Bunch of Kingston and the Rev. J. B. Presley, Methodist minister of Huntsville.

O. M. Presley, accompanied by little grandson, Murmen Potter of Little Rock, visited his siter, Mrs. Joe McLoud of near Huntsville, his brother, Will Presley, of Clifty, and other relatives and old friends in Alabama and Marble communities last week. Mr. Presley has been employed the past 16 years in the circulation department of the Arkansas Gazette.
