1 CONT We were shocked and made sad by the sudden death of a very dear friend, Mr. Elzora W. Deatherage Sr.
1 CONT The Deatherages had attended church services Sunday morning and had just returned home when he suffered a fatal hear attack.
1 CONT Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Prudence Deatherage of the home; sons Everett of Texas, McKinley of Wilson, Ben of Texas, Glenn of Pickett, and E. W. Jr. of Oklahoma City.
1 CONT Daughters, Mrs. Nola MOrgan of Mountain View, Mrs. Cecil Weldon, Mrs. Thelma Leudeke of Texas, Mrs. Tressie Simmons of Mountain View. There were also a number of grandchildren and other relatives

1 CONT WEWOKA - Services for Kevin Floyd Deatherage, 33, Wewoka, formerly of Ada, are 2 p.m. Friday at High Hill Baptist Church, Ada, the Rev. Curt Rogers officiating. Burial follows at High Hill Cemetery, Ada.
1 CONT Mr. Deatherage died March 16, 2004, at Konawa. He was born Aug. 8, 1970, at Ada to Beverly Ann Deatherage.
1 CONT He attended Ada schools and moved to Wewoka from Ada a few years ago. He was an oil-field worker.
1 CONT He married Dana Ellis in l994 at Lindsay.
1 CONT Mr. Deatherage was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Ann Escue, in 1993; a grandmother, Amanda Perry Deatherage, in 1994; and an uncle, Edward Deatherage, in 1996.
1 CONT Survivors include two daughters, Tosha Deatherage and Casey Deatherage, both of Wewoka; the mother of the children, Dana Deatherage, Oklahoma City; a stepson, Bobby Malone, Allen; a brother, Billy Lloyd Phillips, San Francisco, Calif., three uncles, Monte Deatherage and wife Cindy, Ada, Robert Deatherage, Temple, and B. J. Perry, Little Axe; and grandfather, Glen Deatherage, Sulphur.
1 CONT Bearers are Duane Estes, Kyle Goodman, Richard Byrd, Roger Byrd, Tim Deatherage and J. D. Deatherage.

1 CONT Arthur C. Deatherage, 77, of Gassville, passed away Sept 17, 2000, at Kankakee, IL. He was born on December 22, 1922 at Oakland, AR, the son of Arthur and Edith (Rea) Deatherage. Mr. Deatherage was employed by Gould Battery of Kankakee prior to retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golfing. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Deatherage is survived by two nephews, Duane Deatherage and his wife Michele of Kankakee, IL, and Wayne Deatherage and his wife Vicky of Kankakee, IL; and several other nieces and nephews. He is survived locally by his cousins, Jerry Rose and his wife Jeanette of Gassville, and Ann Jarmas of Gassville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Blaine Deatherage. Visitation was held Sep 20, 6 to 8 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home. Graveside services were held Sept 21, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Flippin with Paul Huskey officiating.

1 CONT John Willard Deatherage, 75 of Gasville passed away Saturday, Sep 8, 2007, in Gassville Nursing Center.
1 CONT He was born March 21, 1932 in Cotter to the late John Albert and Willie Bernice Trimble Deatherage. He was a retired automotive mechanic.
1 CONT Mr. Deatherage married Cora Lee Kirkland on Dec 7, 1954, at Mountain Home. She preceded him in death on Dec. 16, 2003. He was also preceded in death by a stepmother, Regina Deatherage.
1 CONT Mr. Deatherage is survived by two sons, Dennis Deatherage of Ozark and Grant Deatherage of Marshall; two daughters, Darlene Clark of Flippin and Susan Armstrong of Paragould; one sister, Laverne Allen of Gassville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
1 CONT A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept 13, in Roller Funeral Home Chapel of Mountain Home. Interment will be private.

1 CONT Mr. John Henry Deatherage of Lake Wales died of injuries sustained in an auto accident Monday October 18, 2004 at Winter Haven Hospital. He was 58.
1 CONT Born in Tucumcari, N.M. on Dec 10, 1945, he came to Lake Wales from Arkansas in 1989. He was a self-employed welder.
1 CONT Mr. Deatherage is survived by his wife, Glenda Deatherage; son, Tony Deatherage, Lake Wales; daughters Royal Sullivan, Lake Wales, Leash Fradenburg Eagle Lake; brother, Lecil Morrilton Deatherage, Jr., Lorida; eight grandchildren.
