1 CONT ROY LESTER DEATHERAGE
1 CONT Roy Lester Deatherage of Carmel died March 6, 2004. He was 86. Roy was born March 15, 1917 to Ernest and Amy Rea Deatherage in Oakland, AR. He later married Rose Cincotta on May 27, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the United States Navy receiving several medals. He is survived by his wife Rose and their two children John Deatherage of Carmel and Florence Barnao of Dover Plains, NY. Survived by one brother Victor Deatherage of California and one sister Erline Reed of Oregon and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visiting will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Adams-Cordovano Funeral Home, 15 Church Street (off Route 6), Carmel, NY. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 11 am at 1st Kent Fishkill Baptist Church. Entombment Rose Hill Memorial Park.

1 CONT Ronald Herbert Rose, 83, of Gassville, Ark., died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Ark. He was born June 3, 1924, in Oakland, Ark.
1 CONT He married Gladys Latonas on July 26, 1944, in Yellville, Ark. He had various occupations. He built trailers as the owner and operator of Rose Welding in Rogers, Ark., before retiring to Gassville. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Mammoth, Mo. He was an avid fisherman and traveled extensively.
1 CONT He was preceded in death by two brothers, Orin Rose and Hermas Deatherage; a nephew, Floyd Long; and two granddaughters, Stephanie Rose Tucker and Alaina Hearn Fudge.
1 CONT Survivors include his wife, Gladys Rose; four sons, Ronald Wayne Rose and Steve Rose, both of Bentonville, Ark., David Rose of Fayetteville, Ark., and Joseph Rose of Olive, Okla.; four daughters, Mary Clubb of Newcastle, Okla., Linda Sallee of Mountain Home, Ark., Angelia Stone of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Julia Hearn of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Anna Kate Jarman of Gassville and Audry Long of Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Jerry Rose of Gassville; 30 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
1 CONT Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Burns Funeral Home Chapel, 725 N. Panther Ave. in Yellville, Ark.
1 CONT Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gale Wooten and the Rev. Randy Hearn. Burial will be at the Gassville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Sallee, Gabe Sallee, Samuel Rose, Mike Rose, Brad Pepmiller and Adam Rose.
