| There was another Strobach family in Rolla. Ferdinand and Augusta (Henkil) Strobach. One of their sons Charles T. Strobach was mayor of Rolla at one point. I believe (no proof) that Ferdinand and Charles (above) were brothers. The following are some other Strobach's buried near Chas and Caroline Strobach which may be their children or children of Ferdinand and Augusta Strobach. Emma (1880 - 1881) is probably a child of Chas and Caroline. Ferdinand and Augusta had a Emma, but she lived to maturity and married a John Cox. August may be a child of Ferdinand and Augusta being named for his mother. No proof. Fred J. Strobach's death certificate lists his parents as unknown. The informant is a Mrs. Carl Strobach, but both families (Chas and Ferdinand) had a son named Carl. |
